Throw it. Splash it. Take it home.
No experience needed, just a no-judgement zone for every age and skill level.
Art With No Rules
Throw it. Splash it. Take it home.
Splasherist is an immersive creative experience studio where cathartic fun meets uninhibited self-expression. You throw, splash and layer paint onto canvas, and for an hour nobody is grading your brushwork.
That loose, messy energy is the point. People leave feeling lighter, a little louder and genuinely proud of the thing they made. Whether it is your first time holding a paintbrush or your fiftieth, the studio is built as a no-judgement zone where all ages and skill levels are welcome, and no artistic background is needed.
Bring your own music, bring your own drinks (BYOB is welcome), and take your artwork home as a lasting souvenir. Our Bath studio at 12 Widcombe Parade is the heart of it, with Bristol and Worcester carrying the same energy.
How a Session Runs
Not sure what to expect? Here is how a paint-throwing session works at Splasherist, from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you head home with your artwork.
-
1
A warm welcome
Your host greets you and walks you through the studio, so you arrive knowing exactly where to go and what comes next.
-
2
Safety briefing and kit-up
Your host takes you through the safety briefing, then you pull on overalls and shoe covers, all supplied, so you can paint without worrying about your clothes.
-
3
Paint, throw and splash
You get around 50 minutes of paint time, enough for the two canvases included, and you can play your own music while you go.
-
4
Take your artwork home
Your finished pieces travel home in a specially made pizza box, or we can arrange shipping if you are passing through Bath.
